At DesignWise, we look for the most economical solutions. This could be by finding readily available parts on the shelf, buying parts in bulk to get discounts, or finding other vendors. We optimize the design by replacing complex systems, reducing the number of parts, simplifying weldments, and reducing the amount of weld time. If advantageous, we use as many existing or common parts as possible to increase quantity discounts and familiarity with your team. To reduce machining costs, we use through holes in place of threaded holes, reduce the number of bends, add small radii to plates, and utilize pre-boring instead of sending weldments out for line-boring. These are just a few of the many ways we strive to make your products more economical.
